STEP FIVE is to set up a fundraising page with JustGiving or GlobalGiving. It’s quick and easy to set up and Lucinda is always ready to help. Click here, scroll down to START FUNDRAISING. Inspire you friends, family and work colleagues to support your mission by writing a compelling story, share your OSCAR experience, make it personal. Aim high.. set your target for £1,000 and increase the target as you get close. Share your page by email, post on social media, tell your local paper.. rally support and make it a team effort.

SIXTH step is to book your flights to Mumbai, your accommodation and onwards travel to Bagdogra. Trekkers will be added to a WhatsApp group to coordinate with others. Expect a hero’s welcome in Mumbai from the OSCAR family and 24 hours of hospitality including a trip to Sassoon Dock, the Ambedkar Nagar community, Dhobi Ghat laundry, the OSCAR community centre and the party of all parties on a traditional boat sailing from the Gateway of India.
