OSCAR Foundation’s Annual Football Day 2026 brought together over 700 children from underserved communities, turning football grounds into powerful spaces of learning, teamwork, and aspiration.
Youth aged 11 to 18 from across the city came together for a day that celebrated not just competition, but character.
The event kicked off with high-energy warm-up sessions led by OSCAR coaches and young leaders, setting the tone for a day rooted in discipline and preparation.
This was followed by structured knockout tournaments across age groups, where teams showcased skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. From nail-biting penalty shootouts to focused skill challenges that sharpened dribbling and passing, the energy on the field was electric.
With over 150 goals scored, the scoreboard told only part of the story. Beyond the wins and losses, Annual Football Day reinforced values that lie at the heart of OSCAR’s work, resilience, teamwork, and self-belief. Once again, football proved to be more than a game; it became a platform for empowering young people to grow, lead, and dream bigger.
