Celebrating Sport, Spirit, and Togetherness with OSCAR Foundation

There are days that go beyond classrooms and football pitches, days that bring people together in the pure joy of play. At OSCAR Foundation, sport is not just about scoring goals; it is about breaking barriers, learning life skills, and celebrating community.

This season, we witnessed it all. Teachers, staff, and students came together for a spirited day of games, musical chairs, ice-breakers, football, and even daring adventures like the fire river crossing. Laughter echoed across the grounds as teamwork replaced textbooks and fresh memories were made at every corner. It was a reminder that learning doesn’t just happen inside classrooms, it thrives in the energy of shared experiences.

Our community children also kicked off their journey with friendly matches against Daman Academy. These age-group games were more than just football, they were opportunities to build friendships, spark healthy rivalries, and experience the thrill of playing as a team. For many, it was the beginning of discovering discipline, resilience, and the joy of grassroots football.

And what better moment to celebrate the power of sport than National Sports Day in Rajasthan? Inspired by the legendary Major Dhyan Chand Ji, seven teams from three locations came together for an inclusive tournament where age, gender, and background melted away. Mixed teams competed shoulder to shoulder, embodying equal opportunity and inclusion. Beyond the scores, children took home lessons in leadership, confidence, and solidarity, the true victories of the day.

At OSCAR Foundation, sport is a bridge. It connects generations, nurtures dreams, and teaches lessons that last a lifetime. Whether on a school field, a community pitch, or a tournament in Rajasthan, one message shines through: the spirit of sport empowers us all to move forward with pride, resilience, and unity.
