She has around 30 years of professional experience with expertise in Organisation Tech Strategy, Process automation, Organisational change management, Business Process & Digital Transformation and Program management. She is an alumnus of INSEAD and a qualified Cost Accountant, carrying expertise in Blockchain & Cybersecurity with experience in Financial Services / Insurance & Media sectors.
Founding Partner, InnoVen Tripkle Blue Capital Services LLP
Tarana Lalwani is one of the founding partners at InnoVen Capital, where she heads sourcing and execution of venture debt transactions. She plays an active role within the portfolio companies which encompasses facilitating business development, and planning and guidance on further fund raises.
Some of the investments lead by her are Elastic Run, Porter, Videoverse, Beepkart, Bharatpe, Servify etc. Prior to InnoVen she was a Principal at Seedfund, where Tarana sourced, evaluated and mentored early stage companies. She also works closely with the portfolio companies to get them to the next level of growth. Given her strong ties with angel groups like Mumbai Angels, where she was an active member and the venture investor community, Tarana continues to be involved in the early stage space mentoring and guiding founders on fund raising, strategy and business development, and dabbles a bit in some angel investing. Having started a string of internships right after her schooling years, she gained experience in various fields of social work. She has published a paper with the Emerald Emerging Markets Publishing House, UK on – ‘Empowering lives through football’. Priyank is a highly skilled finance professional with 14 years of experience in shipping operations, NGO accounting, statutory and internal audit, shipping finance, and teaching commerce.
With expertise in financial management, internal controls, and compliance, Priyank excels in developing financial policies, maintaining cash flow, conducting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance. His proficiency in MS Excel and Tally, along with his strong analytical skills, enables him to optimize financial performance and generate accurate reports. Priyank is a proactive communicator and collaborator, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Shankar Menon is a communications and project management professional with 55,000+ hours in comms, creative production and client servicing.
He has experience in handling key accounts, overseeing campaigns, content, branding, and video production. He holds a Bachelor’s in Mass Media and a Diploma in Fashion Photography, with expertise in Adobe Suite, Canva, and Trello.
Manager, Fundraising
Sunita carries immense experience in the non-profit sector. She has been associated with OSCAR Foundation since 2014.
She jump-started her career as a computer teacher, developing the curriculum for English, Hindi, Mathematics, Marathi, and computer skills. She progressed to becoming Project Head, spearheading volunteer engagement events, developing the foundation’s Child Sponsorship Programme, and identifying and coordinating with new and existing donors.
She is currently the Fundraising Manager at OSCAR Foundation, where she actively works towards expanding donor networking, writing proposals and grants, maintaining the OSCAR Child Sponsorship programme, and managing the relationship with OSCAR’s portfolio of individual donors. Sunita holds an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS (SVKM) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.
Manager, Lakshya Football Club
Kumar has been associated with OSCAR Foundation since 2014. He started his career as a football coach with OSCAR and today manages Lakshya Football Club.
He is dedicated to the development of grassroots football and oversees the overall streamlining and management of the programme. Kumar holds a ‘C’ Diploma license in Coaching (2024) from the AIFF (All India Football Federation) and a Diploma in Sports Business Management from Pyramid Sports, England. He has attended numerous national and international trainings, including the Manchester United Coaching Course Premier Skills Football Coaching Training and the International Grassroots Football Coach training in Mumbai with coaches from Bayer Leverkusen and Queens Park Rangers.
Executive, (DD/DNH Project) - Daman
Rupesh joined OSCAR Foundation as a young leader in 2012 before becoming a full time employee in 2015.
He started his OSCAR journey as a football coach for both the I-League U15 team and the senior team. In the process, he also completed his licenses to become a coach and today is a now a qualified AFC C licence coach. Today he manages the Daman project of OSCAR.
Assistant Manager, Diversity Inclusion
Supriya Kuvlekar is a community sports practitioner and social worker with over 14 years of grassroots experience.
Having grown up playing multiple sports, she strongly believes in the power of sport to build discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Through her work with organisations such as Magic Bus India Foundation and the OSCAR Foundation, Supriya has mentored underprivileged children and youth, promoting health, gender equality, and life skills. She is passionate about empowering girls through inclusive community sports programmes.

Manohar Rathod is an Executive in the Young Leaders Program at the OSCAR Foundation, with over a decade of experience in sports for development.
He works closely with young leaders across Mumbai, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Daman, and Goa, supporting their leadership growth and community engagement. A certified football coach with a AIFF D License and KNVB grassroots training, Manohar is committed to empowering youth to become confident, self-reliant changemakers through sport.

Sonu Kumar is a dedicated development professional and football coach, currently managing the OSCAR Foundation Rajasthan Project since 2022.
He initiated the OSCAR program in Rajasthan with the vision of creating positive change in communities through sports and life skills education. Through continuous motivation, guidance, and access to opportunities, he works to empower children, especially girls, to become confident individuals and role models for their families and communities.

Fardin Yusuf Shaikh is an Executive at the OSCAR Foundation, leading the Karnataka and Rajasthan Rural Programs.
Associated with OSCAR since 2010, he began his journey as a Young Leader, working closely with children and communities at the grassroots. Over the years, his consistent field engagement and leadership have seen him grow into a key programme leader. A certified football coach with an AIFF D License, Fardin has trained nationally and internationally and remains committed to using sport as a tool for social development.

Venancio Rodrigues is a development professional and Sports for Development Coach at the OSCAR Foundation.
With a Master’s degree in Social Work, he leads the Alumni and Fellowship Program and manages the OSCAR Goa Football Program. Working closely with schools and communities, Venancio uses football as a platform to build confidence, life skills, and leadership, creating safe and inclusive spaces where children and young people can grow and thrive.
CEO, Shilputsi Consultants
Purvi Sheth is the CEO of Shilputsi Consultants and an accomplished second-generation entrepreneur with three decades of leadership experience in HR consulting and organizational development. A recognized talent assessor and thought leader, she has helped select over 500 CEOs and CXOs and has mentored more than 100 women leaders across India and Asia.
Purvi serves on the boards of several prominent listed and unlisted Indian corporations, including Ambuja (Adani) Cement Ltd., Shoppers Stop Ltd., Metropolis Healthcare, and Imagine Marketing Ltd. (boAt), often chairing their NRC, CSR, and ESG committees. She is also actively involved in academia as a guest faculty and mentor at premier institutions like IIT Mumbai, St. Xavier’s College, and Ashoka University. Purvi holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, is a globally certified director (GCB.D), and completed her business strategy and leadership management credentials at the Wharton Business School, USA.

Gopinath leads the Human Resources, Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility functions at Apraava Energy and has over three decades of corporate experience in leadership roles. He is a member of the CII National Committee of Leadership and HR and has been an assessor for the CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence and CII National HR Excellence Awards for over a decade.
He is actively involved in volunteering and several pro bono initiatives where he supports NGOs with strategic advisory on organizational issues, along with other senior industry experts. Prior to joining Apraava Energy, Gopinath held leadership roles at Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd., Hindustan Unilever Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporate Limited. Abhay Pandey is a seasoned investor and General Partner at A91 Partners, a growth-stage investment firm focused on backing ambitious entrepreneurs across consumer, healthcare, financial services, and technology sectors in India.
Before co-founding A91, Abhay served as Managing Director at Sequoia Capital India Advisors from 2008 to 2018, joining the firm in 2007. Ashish is a highly experienced Executive in the Sports and Technology fields in: India, USA, HK, China and Thailand. He was instrumental in the setup of 2 Professional Football Clubs, 1 IT Software Company and 2 Multinational Insurers’ greenfield projects in India, demonstrating the ability to build sustainable businesses from the startup phase.
Currently leading Roundglass Sports operations – a multi sport entity leveraging football, hockey, tennis and golf to transform the lives of youth in Punjab.
Ashish has a deep understanding of and a strong network in the Indian Sports ecosystem, especially due to his involvement in the Indian Super League from its very inception in 2014.
Ashish graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, NY, majoring in Computer Engineering and Business. He is a frequent speaker at industry seminars and panels. Ashish is also a Visiting Faculty at one of India’s premier sports management programs.
I’m Shaurya Banga, a student at the American School of Bombay, continuing my journey of supporting OSCAR Foundation at the 2025 TATA Mumbai Marathon.
Inspired by my parents’ dedication to OSCAR, I’ve embraced the transformative power of sports through track, kickboxing, and life lessons. I belive in OSCAR’s vision -Every child deserves the right opportunity to succeed.
I am currently a student at Aditya Birla World Academy, Mumbai. I am extremely passionate about football and part of the school football team.
I understand the impact OSCAR has on the lives of the children and this has strengthened my commitment to OSCAR and I endeavour to contribute in any way I possibly can. I am working on creating a video where the concept of physics is taught through football. I have helped raise funds for OSCAR and am excited to share my football skills with the children. Samaya Shah is a high school student and youth leader from New Jersey who is passionate about expanding opportunities for young people around the world.
As the Executive Director of the International Young Leaders Council (IYLC) and Founder of the National Young Leaders Association (NYLA), she leads initiatives focused on youth leadership, entrepreneurship, education, and global service. She is currently leading a fundraising campaign to help bring six girls from OSCAR Foundation’s communities in India to the United States for a life-changing cultural and educational exchange. As an OSCAR Young Ambassador, Samaya is honored to support OSCAR’s mission and help inspire greater awareness for children and young people.
I am Rayze Borgawkar, a Grade 9 student at Podar ORT International School, Mumbai, and a passionate footballer who has competed at the district, state, and national levels
My journey in football showed me that the game can be a powerful pathway to education, opportunity, and lasting change, inspiring me to partner with OSCAR Foundation through my IB MYP Community Project. Through this project, I worked with donors, led an online fundraising campaign, delivered an Artificial Intelligence workshop for OSCAR children, and helped facilitate a long-term collaboration between the Dinesh Vyas Trust and OSCAR Foundation for the Under-14 Girls’ Lakshya Project. As an OSCAR Young Ambassador, I am proud to continue creating opportunities through football and education by supporting a scholarship programme for deserving older OSCAR children pursuing higher education and future careers.
I have just finished my gap year and will now begin my undergraduate degree, studying History at the University of Oxford.
India was the first country that I visited during my travels and the OSCAR Foundation was a central part of making it my favourite country. My fundraiser involved running the Mumbai Marathon in January 2026 during my visit, and I look forward to more fundraisers and working closely with OSCAR over the next few years.
Tom is a Young Ambassador and has been involved with OSCAR since 2019, when he met the UK Tour at Brighton College.
He subsequently visited the programme in Mumbai as a volunteer in 2020, running the Mumbai Half Marathon and providing on-the-ground support to the Data team and coaches. Tom has continued with fundraising initiatives since visiting, including volunteering at the inaugural OSCAR Ball in 2023. Tom currently works in the Investor Relations team at I Squared Capital, a global infrastructure private equity firm, where he focuses on raising capital from institutional investors. Tom holds an MA in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
I am a recent Durham graduate with a Masters in Electrical Engineering, living and working in London. I volunteered in 2022 with OSCAR, having an incredible time in Mumbai and Karnataka.
Since then, the OSCAR family have stayed very close to my heart and I love seeing how much the network has grown – any opportunity to get involved I am keen for!
After graduating from Newcastle university in 2024, studying languages with business studies, I volunteered for OSCAR in 2025 and it was truly the best experience I have had in my life.
The friends and memories I have made through a short 2 month stint in Mumbai have stuck with me and I can’t wait to see how I can stay involved with the OSCAR family. Now I am moving over to Bologna, Italy to start my professional career however I can’t wait to stay involved with the OSCAR foundation and see what the future holds.
I began volunteering with OSCAR in 2016 as a fundraiser for the UK tours and part of the International Young Leader Programme, which brings students from across the world together and creates valuable links between schools.
As a young leader, I worked with OSCAR both in the UK and India, giving talks, creating presentations and videos showcasing the UK tours. I am passionate about getting children into education, especially girls. I’m currently studying post graduate medicine at the University of Warwick.
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2023 with a BA in History with Innovation.
I first volunteered with the OSCAR Foundation in Mumbai in 2020, drawn to its mission of using sports, education, and life skills to empower children. Since then, I’ve remained deeply connected to the OSCAR community, most recently fundraising by running 7.5km every day to work throughout December.
In February 2026, I returned to Mumbai for the Annual Football Day and saw firsthand how much the event has grown. Now serving as a Young Ambassador, I look forward to supporting our international community and helping host the upcoming OSCAR Ball in September!
Hi, I’m Joel and am currently studying Sport and Business Entrepreneurship at the University of West of England in Bristol.
I joined the OSCAR Family in 2022 when I went to Mumbai as a volunteer for a month to assist the Oscar Team. During my stay in India, I immersed myself in all aspects of OSCAR life, creating various initiatives and running sporting activities for the OSCAR participants. I also took the 12-hour train ride to Karnataka to deliver football boots to children in remote villages. I continue to fundraise for the charity actively and recently helped at the OSCAR Fundraising Ball in London. I look forward to returning to India to continue my work as a young Ambassador for the foundation and keeping in touch with my OSCAR friends there.
I am currently a student at Durham University and I first came across OSCAR at 12 years old when they visited Beaudesert Park the prep school I attended. My involvement with them continued when they visited the senior school I was in.
In January 2024 I volunteered with OSCAR in India. It was an incredible visit for me especially visiting the villages in Karnataka and it was enjoyable being met by smiles everywhere I went.
