Kicking Off Summer with Purpose: OSCAR Foundation’s Summer Camps 2025

As the sun blazes over Mumbai, OSCAR Foundation is turning up the energy with its much-awaited Summer Camps 2025, bringing together children from diverse communities through the unifying power of football. But this isn’t just any summer camp—this is play with purpose.

Running across 10 locations in Mumbai—Mankhurd, Goregaon, Cuffe Parade, Chembur, Cotton Green, Seawoods, Bandra, Vile Parle, Powai, and Mahalaxmi—these camps are more than just about sport. They’re safe, inclusive spaces where children learn key life skills, develop self-confidence, build friendships, and stay meaningfully engaged during the summer break.

Every session combines fun-filled football drills with interactive life skills education, designed by OSCAR’s expert coaches and community leaders.

“Our Summer Camp isn’t just about football—it’s about equipping children with tools to navigate life. Over four weeks, we’re creating space for young minds to talk about real issues—managing emotions like love, addiction, and self-harm, understanding their bodies, building healthy habits, and learning about health, hygiene, and nutrition. And of course, we end with Matchday—where everything they’ve learnt comes alive on the pitch.” — Rahul Gharpure, Manager – Football and Life Skills Education Program

For many participants, this is their first taste of structured play, leadership-building, and being part of a supportive peer group. The impact? Tangible shifts in attitude, focus, and self-belief that go far beyond the football field.

At OSCAR, we believe every child has the right to play, learn, and thrive. And this summer, we’re making that happen—one goal, one child, and one game at a time.
