OSCAR Foundation recognises that families in its intervention areas are facing unprecedented challenges as a result of the nationwide lockdown to control the spread of COVID-19. A large majority of OSCAR beneficiaries belong to families dependent on daily wage income for their survival. With no source of income, it is a big challenge for these families to sustain themselves. The OSCAR team has identified at-risk families, widows and families with existing financial burdens and has started to distribute essential supplies to them. Each care package consists of rice, wheat, pulses, sugar, oil and hygiene products.

Earlier in March, the OSCAR Foundation team set up hand sanitising stations and distributed over a 1000 pamphlets with key information on preventing the spread of COVID-19 printed in Hindi. We encourage all our well-wishers and supporters to donate to the OSCAR Foundation Coronavirus Relief Fund. For any further queries, please contact communications@oscar-foundation.org
